working with styles
So far you have learned how to use many different types of objects to
build up your Autodesk ® InfraWorks™ model. You have gotten a glimpse of
how styles affect the things you add to your model by selecting styles as you
create new objects. But what about getting the model to look exactly how
you want it to look? What about creating roads that match the dimensions
required by the local governing agency and the materials typically used in
that part of the world? What about all of the existing buildings in your model
that all look the same? Wouldn't the model look more realistic if they were
different? These questions and many more will be answered in this chapter
as you study and apply the magic of styles.
In this chapter, you'll learn to
Manage styles
Create material styles for use in other styles
Buildmaterialgroupsformorecomplexstyles
Make coverage styles for realistic land development applications
Create and apply road styles for realistic and multifunctional roads
Configure facade styles for realistic buildings
Leverage style rules to apply multiple styles at once
Managing styles

clicking the InfraWorks Home icon to reveal the InfraWorks toolbar, then
by clicking Manage on the InfraWorks toolbar, followed by clicking Style
