setting the smooth radius
When you set the elevation of a coverage, InfraWorks will gradually slope
from the edges of the coverage back to the terrain. The smooth radius is the
distance between the edge of the coverage and the place where it ties back to
the terrain. A larger smooth radius will result in a more gradual tie in and a
less steep embankment. A small smooth radius will result in a more abrupt tie
in and steeper embankment (see Figure 3.30). The smooth radius is set in the
Properties panel, which can be accessed by right-clicking the coverage and select-
ing Properties from the shortcut menu.
