In-Depth Information
This error reflects the percentage of wrongly assigned pixels that ranges
from zero or no error, that is, when the image is exactly clustered, to 1, that
is, when the image is wrongly clustered.
E x a mple 7. 6
Two examples are shown that are related to intuitionistic fuzzy colour
clustering. Images are downloaded from the image gallery http://www.
polconsultant.com/conteduc/hematology/micro/. To deal with cell
images, staining is done to enhance the contrast and highlight the struc-
tures of cells or tissues for viewing with the help of a microscope. But in
the figures, the images are converted to greyscale images using the code
'colormap (grey)'.
Figure 7.9 is an abnormal RBC image containing tooth-like cells called poi-
kilocyte or burr cells. Figure 7.10 is a stained cell image showing the mono-
cyte in purple colour. The results are displayed in black and white.
