in the middle of historic and commercial Guayaquil. It is a step up
from the Palace, but still priced below some of the luxury hotels. The
90 rooms are all equipped with the standard amenities and attrac-
tively decorated with Ecuadorian art. In addition, there are “E-
rooms,” complete with multi-media computers, as well as several
“virtual offices,” equipped with the latest technology and Internet
connections. In addition to a cocktail lounge and cafeteria, you can
enjoy fine dining at the hotel's El Fortin restaurant - or just call your
