retro fans and miniature kitten-shaped frying-pans -
LCL is the perfect hunting ground for novelty presents.

French Chain Stores
Several international high-street stores are actually
of French origin: the young of body and heart
make a beeline for branches of Morgan , Etam and
Kookaï (which now has a capsule up-market
collection, Creative Lab). Basic, fashion-conscious
footwear can be snapped up at André (which also
regularly invites guest designers), while Princesse
Tam Tam is good for bikinis and underwear (though
bra sizes often stop at a B-cup). On the beauty
front, Sephora is hard to beat, but Yves Rocher
is also worth checking out for all-natural bath
and beauty products. Monoprix supermarkets are
great one-stop shops for (slightly older) fashion,
bags, beauty products and home accessories.
