L'Eclaireur directional fashion
10 rue Hérold, 1er • 01 40 41 09 89
www.leclaireur.com Open 11-7 Mon-Sat
It might be Paris's hippest multi-brand boutique, but
with no shop window it's certainly not the city's most
obvious. You'll have to press the buzzer to get in to
the dimly lit cavernous space, where, despite the
store's ultra-trendy reputation, the welcome is warm
and the staff are genuinely enthusiastic about
helping customers put an outfit together.
The store's focus is on innovative, international
fashion, showcasing superbly tailored men's
collections by Austrian designer Carol Christian Poell
and avant-garde mens- and womenswear by Japanese
label Undercover. Other highlights include tactile
deconstructed sweaters in vintage cashmere by LA-
based designer Koi, a great selection of Linda Farrow
vintage sunglasses and a more classic collection of
menswear designed by actor John Malkovich that is
exclusive to L'Eclaireur in France.

Open 10:30-7 Mon-Sat
An upmarket concept store, Ventilo sells a small but
sophisticated range of women's fashion and home
accessories. The look is chic with a Moroccan/Indian
twist; think gorgeous fabrics, floaty djellebas and lots
of beading and embroidery. The in-store café serves a
selection of Japanese teas and world food.

Odette & Zoe handbags galore
4 rue des Petits Champs, 2ème • 01 42 61 48 75
Open 11-7 Mon-Sat
This pink boutique is packed with bags of every
imaginable style, shape and colour. The focus is on
fun and originality rather than famous designer
labels: quirky finds include suitcases printed with
Marilyn Monroe's face, practical foldaway bags by
Bensimon and purses made from vintage saris.
