The first screen capture (A) from Chromix ColorThink shows the internal structure of both a camera and scanner profile (Kodak
660 and Imacon 848). The first window shows the direction from RGB to LAB with one arrow indicating that the profile operates only in
one direction. Notice in the second window the tag tables outlined in red show that the color space conversions run only from RGB to
LAB. In contrast, in the second screen capture (B) from an Epson 2200 printer profile, the first window shows the direction from RGB to
LAB and back, with two arrows indicating that the profile operates in two directions. In the tag tables, notice, outlined in red, both AtoB
and BtoA tags. Recall there are various rendering intents. This is why you see three AtoB and BtoA tags. See Chapter 6 and Chapter 8 for
