2 hours away. Color management gets you close, but how close
depends on the image.
• For some reason, Apple has never given ColorSync the
importance it deserves. They've never taken the evangelistic
attitude about ColorSync that they have with their hardware.
Everything I learned about color management has been from
third parties.
• Color management has gotten easier but still remains entirely too
complicated and too expensive. It's complexity and cost prevents
most users from using it.
• Hardware and software manufacturers need to cooperate and
create a color-managed work flow that is inexpensive,
straightforward, and platform independent.
• We've never been entirely happy with our scanner profiles.
