Another option in ProfileMaker Pro that is useful is the ability to
measure the white of a paper stock in a light box and build a profile based
on that white with ProfileMaker Pro. This advanced feature may be useful
to some users since doing so can produce a better soft proof to a light box
when used with a specific paper stock. A Spectrophotometer will be
needed along with software that can provide the paper white values. Pro-
fileMaker Pro's MeasureTool module will provide this functionality.
The X-Rite OPTIX XR Colorimeter is capable of calibrating and profil-
ing both LCD and CRT displays. The OPTIX XR and MonacoOPTIX soft-
ware is wizard-based and has an easy and advanced mode. X-Rite offers
two versions of MonacoOPTIX software at two different price points. The
