show you what a document looks like on a Macintosh, using a TRC
gamma of 1.8 outside of an ICC-aware application such as most Web
browsers.
Windows RGB
functions the same but uses a TRC gamma of 2.2.
These two options can be useful if you want to see how files will appear
on different platforms outside of ICC-aware applications like Photoshop.
Monitor RGB
produces the same function but uses your ICC display profile
to produce the previews, without regard to the document's embedded
profile. This shows how a document will appear on your system outside
of ICC-aware applications. As the names here imply, these options will
be accessible only for documents in RGB.
