The second reason for Zhongfu Lianzhong's success was refined
manufacturing. For certification, I visited the workshop of blades
several times and noticed how much detail the staf paid attention
to. This is a kind of capability not owned by many. It is precious
that in March 2011 Zhongfu Lianzhong came back to fundamental
research on blades even after five years of manufacturing. The
senior engineer, Zhang Xiaoming explained, “On the one hand,
the bigger the size of blades we make, the heavier they get, so we
need to extract refined nutrition of making it from five years of
experiences, in order to provide technical support for optimisation
of blades manufacturing; on the other hand, those experiments
and research projects halted due to limitations of experimental
conditions. Now technological capabilities can be conducted for
future technological reserve.”
In terms of blade manufacturing techniques, manufacturers
are not so much diferent from each other, and would mainly find
this in refined work, which is the determinant of quality. Currently,
the industry agrees that the difficulty of work lies in the control
of manufacturing methods and processes. Without good control,
quality problems could easily occur, such as cracks (failed perfor-
mance of materials).
The main materials used for blade manufacturing are resin,
adhesives and fibre, the combinations of which would create
