Gesellschaft für Energietechnik: 1992-1997
GET was founded in 1992 and first concentrated on development
and sales of the Danish DanWin-27 (225 kW), of which a dozen
was sold in Germany. In 1995 a 600 kW machine was presented—
followed by another dozen of units sold. GET cooperated with the
shipyard HDW-Nobiskrug, located at Rendsburg. In 1996 GET took
over all wind energy activities of Autoflug, a German company
involved in developing two-bladed wind turbines [5]. But in 1997,
the company went bankrupt and disappeared from the wind
industry.
Venis: 1988-2000
In the late 1980s, Schubert, a company for electronics, decided
to establish a subsidiary for wind energy. This new company was
called Ventis Energietechnik, located in Braunschweig.

Ventis' turbine was an upwind, pitch-regulated 2-blader,
rated at 100 kW. Some dozens of the V20-100 were sold. Ventis
equipped the first wind farm in Egypt with its V20-100. In 1995,
the company went bankrupt. Though, the 500 kW turbine was
