Schwarzwald, is a freelance journalist based in
Freiburg. After having studied geography, geology
and biology in Freiburg and Glasgow, he took to
freelance work since 1995. During his studies
Bernward had developed a growing interest in the
subject of climate conservation, and renewable
energies became the central issue of his work as a
