Windmill designed and built by Niels Borre, installed on low-
energy house in Skive (about 1976). It could not turn by the
wind, it needed an electric motor.
The Johannessens had been enriched by a wind power
experience, but they did not give up wind power because of the
Borre scandal. Soon after, they ordered a 22 kW Smedemester
windmill from H. Poulsen & Søn at Lyngs, a Folkecenter/NIVE design.
It provided power for them for many years. All through the years
the windmill was looked after by
but when a blade
was broken after many years of service it was given up for lost. Erik
Johannessen would have still preferred to buy a bigger windmill but
the local planning authority would not permit it.

Catalogue” with a veritable cavalcade of types. Here one can find
something that would appeal to all tastes.
