voltage and frequency. The rectifier (top left of Fig. 15.10) delivers
DC power to eight Surrette batteries, each of 250 Ah. The Trace
inverter (bottom left, Fig. 15.10) delivers 230 V, 50 Hz, AC power
of grid quality to the building.
