It was also in that year that we employed our new manager,
Palle Nørgård. We
started with very few employees, but the office
soon became 20 staf strong with 40-60 people in the workshops.
We got safely through 1984, and since then there has been nothing
but progress. In 2000 we employed 350 people with a turnover of
DKK 1.5 billion (EUR 200 million). Only a few can experience that
kind of growth in a new industry. I have been lucky. And when I
grow old, I think that what I shall be looking back to will be my time
in the wind power business.
