Countless people were involved in the design and manufacture
of the successful Tvind turbine and the loosely connected actor-
network surrounding the turbine's development would soon
begin to develop their own technology and set in motion the early
development of the Danish wind industry. Thirty years later, the
Tvind turbine, having been designed with relatively conservative
design principles and limited to operation well below the original
rating, still operates and generates about 1 MW of power to provide
electricity to the facilities at the school.
