To create his secondary correction on the lion, Lovejoy combines two
qualifications. First he qualifies the lion using an HSL key. His HSL quali-
fication goes a little “broad,” selecting some portions of the image beyond
the lion, so he adds a circle vignette around the lion as a “garbage matte.”
With the lion qualified, he lowers the saturation of the lion. “It's hard to get
a perfect match out of two widely divergent sources. You can see here that
