6.3 . Informational context of the truck
A more in-depth study enabled us to bring out a UML (Unified Modeling
Language) specification comprising different use cases, based on the different
relations between users and the truck in different parts of the study, characterized
both by accessible communications and the reasons for exchange between players
[ECL 06]. In this way, specific sequence diagrams were elaborated, showing
exchanges between the main users and objects identified. A fairly detailed class
diagram resulted in a development proposal. A collaboration diagram enabled us to
formalize the exchanges between the different objects and users. We outline the
information exchanges identified, less formally than in UML but more easily
understood, in Figure 6.2. The main users are positioned around the driver and his
truck. These include the transport company, the customer, the mechanic, the weather
forecast service, the road maintenance services and the local transport infrastructure
service.
The exchanges can be characterized in the following way:
- commercial exchanges between the customer, the transport company and the
driver;
