structure. The absence of HCl may slow down the polymerization, so
there are more chances for the interaction of PPy and TiO 2 nanoparticles.
As discussed above, this spherical structure provides larger surface area
than the film. For some applications, such as photocatalytic decomposi-
tion of pollutants, this may be the desired morphology as it enhances the
contact area with solutions.
