it may be necessary to adjust the orientation of the hand, wrist, and arm to
maintain the equilibrium of the object itself.
Cooperation in Lifting Weight
When two or more people work together to lift a weight, the actions of the
individuals conducting the lifting must be coordinated to achieve an effective
and successful action. The timing of the separate phases of movement may be
critical. Communication between the individuals may be an additional aspect
that may result in slight pauses between each of the phases. This is perhaps
most apparent between the preparatory and execution stages.
