which a figure or an object can be oriented and positioned:
The sagittal plane
The coronal plane
The transverse plane
The Sagittal or Median Plane
The sagittal or median plane divides the figure in half vertically and from front
to back, dividing the figure into left and right sides.
The Frontal or Coronal Plane
The frontal or coronal plane divides the figure in half vertically from side to
side, dividing the figure into anterior and posterior halves.
