If you want to stay in the heart of Buenos Aires,
the Colón, right across from the obelisk on
Avenida 9 de Julio, should be at the top of your
list. Rooms, many facing the obelisk, are attrac-
tively furnished. The rooftop pool, though far
from ostentatious, is a nice extra.
