A Note On Smoking
Buenos Aires has not enacted any laws ban-
ning smoking in restaurants. If you are
looking for a totally smoke-free dining envi-
ronment, your hotel room may be your best
bet. However, some restaurants offer non-
smoking sections. Rather than deprive
yourself of some of the city's greatest plea-
sures, request a table in non-smoking.

friends or a heaping plate of pasta in La Boca,
dinner is practically an all-night affair. Restau-
rant ovens aren't even warm until 8 pm and 10
pm is prime time for families and singles alike
to crowd into eateries that serve until 2 am or
later.
