5.2 Drop in Duration of Tasks
On the other hand, the duration of the

phases, while the duration of the

task increases. The decrease of the

could be ex-
plained by the fact that the project had a fixed deadline. It was not possible to spend
more time on the

activity because of the fact that more time was simply
not available. This hypothesis was also given by the organization that provided us
with information prior to our analysis. However, this hypothesis does not explain the
increase of the duration of the
Evaluation
task
