Application Design Solution
A link must be provided to any
additional element, plug-in, or
other application necessary for
presented content.
Whenever a plug-in, applet, script, or
specialized content requires an additional
download to present the content (examples:
PDF or PowerPoint viewers), a descriptive
hyperlink to the download's source will be
provided.
Online electronic forms shall
allow use by assistive
technologies.
All form controls, fi eld elements, and
requirements for completion and submission
must have descriptive text labels. All functions
and data entry fi elds should require only
standard keyboard or keyboard-emulation
input.
Users must be allowed to skip
repetitive navigation links.
Any lists of links or groups of information
should include a descriptive link for skipping
to the next section rapidly.
Users should be alerted to time
requirements and provided
suffi cient time to indicate more
time is required.
Automatic-progression or timed-response
controls must include an option for user
control over content changes. The option for
extending or canceling timed actions must be
presented early and allow suffi cient time for
the user to identify and enact the option.

Mobile Limitations
In addition to constraints on wireless bandwidth and interface options

have seen clusters of people around wall power plugs at airports and dur-
ing conferences, all trying to recharge devices for continued use. I have
