These dinosaur footprints preserved in over 100 feet of the Paluxy River bed
in Texas show three sauropod trackways, each overlapped by theropod track-
ways (birdlike footprints). Discoveries like this one have led to the belief that
sauropods traveled in herds and that large theropods may have stalked their
prey in packs.
