Tip 4: Job Rotation
Long-lasting habituation kills risk sensitivity. Only a few people know
the art of looking at work in a fresh way every day. Job rotation is
one way of avoiding an impassive attitude toward work. A new posi-
tion refreshes employees
experience of the environment; it is a good
way to postpone the wood sawyer effect.

job (for example, all mechanics) and estimate the degree of impassive-
ness they experience toward their work?
Question: How realistic is job rotation in your company, and what
would be a reasonable time to shift from one plant to another?
