15 N- 1 H TROSY-HSQC spectra of 15 N-labelled DnaJ(1-70) with
DnaK(1-605), ADP state. Spectra with DnaK:DnaJ of 0 : 1, 0.25 : 1,
0.50 : 1, 1 : 1, 2 : 1 and 4 : 1 are superposed.
Surprisingly, only a little line broadening occurs in the process
[Figures 10.16(a) and 10.17(b)], even though the nuclear spins in DnaJ(1-70)
change from an 8 to a 75 kDa environment. The 10-fold change in molecular
weight is expected to result in a ca. 10-fold increase in linewidth in any

70) with unlabelled DnaK(1-605), ADP state. Spectra with
DnaK:DnaJ of 0 : 1, 0.25 : 1, 0.50 : 1, 1 : 1, 2 : 1 and 4 : 1 are
superposed with the colors: blue, cyan, green, yellow, red and purple.
Residue L28 shows the largest shift. (b) The chemical shifts mapped on
