At the start of each weighing of a batch, the area QAI (weighing area) will make sure that all the
requirements of area clearance are being followed as per the area clearance format and signed by
the weighing area supervisor/officer and also the weighing area manager.
If all the requirements are met, then the area QAI will countersign the weighing area equipment
clearance (Annexure I).
