formation of nanotube and nanowire of PPy sample was confirmed
by using field emission scanning electron microscope and
transmission electron microscope. Formation of PANI nanotubules
in room temperature ionic liquids by means of electrochemical
polymerization without any template has also been reported
[189]. PANI nanotubules were synthesized electrochemically on a
modified ITO glass in [BMIM][PF
] containing 1M trifluoroacetic
acid. Tubular structures of PANI with the diameter of ca.120 nm
were shown by scanning electron microscopy.
