From another point of view, polyelectrolyte functionalized
IL was also a novel kind of polyelectrolyte. Thus, many traditional
applications of polyelectrolytes would be possible for such PFIL
and some unique properties derived from ILs would also be
expected. For example, ultrathin films of PFIL and Prussian blue
(PB) nanoparticles were fabricated on the ITO substrate through
electrostatic layer-by-layer assembly method [51]. The obtained
