You import an image into an application, such as Microsoft Word, and the transparent areas appear
white. What can you do resolve this issue?

You can convert a corner anchor point to a smooth point, or back to a corner again, by pressing and
holding the Alt/Option key and clicking the anchor point when you have the Pen tool selected.

To move an entire path, you can select and move or even transform an entire path by using the Path
Selection tool ( ) located in the Vector tools section of the Tools panel.
To select and edit individual points or path segments, you can use the Direct Selection tool to select
individual path segments or points on a path. Make sure that all anchor points are deselected by click-
ing off the path before selecting an individual point.

If you import an image into another application and the transparency is not supported, you can return
to the original file and save it in the PNG format. If a higher quality image is needed for printing, save
in the EPS format.
