What is the benefit to using vector shapes in Photoshop?
2
What feature would you use to bring a multicolored illustrator object into Photoshop?
3
How can you add a custom shape?
Answers
1
The benefit of using vector shapes is that they are scalable and remain editable objects as long as they
are not rasterized, or saved in a format that does not support vectors.
2
To bring in artwork and keep all the color and stroke properties, you would choose File > Place.
3
You can add any path as a custom shape. This includes one that you might have created directly in
Photoshop using the Pen tool. You can also choose to Copy and Paste a path from Adobe Illustrator.
Then choose Edit > Define Custom shape.
