Select the Zoom tool ( ) and click the image to zoom in closer. Go through the same process across
the frog, starting with areas that define form, such as across the back, the crease in the back leg, and
around the back of the eye.
To minimize the telltale repetition signs of clone stamping, use as big a brush as you can and keep
sampling from different areas to break the pattern up. If you can find usable texture, color, and
tone from another part of the image, use it. For example, the area behind the eye could be used
for the area in front of the eye as your source. Blend it in with a bit of clone-stamping using the
area behind the front leg as your source.
Stage 1 cloning — using areas on the back as source points.
