In-Depth Information
• Ask the child:
— What kinds of tools would they like to have?
— What would they like to miniaturize and turn into tiny versions?
— How could one of their toys be improved?
— How could two different toys be integrated together? (Think train
track and Lego adapter)
— What kinds of things would they like in miniature? (Perhaps a stand
mixer, crane, or their own MakerBot)
While the Replicator 2 is incredibly easy to use, it does have moving parts, as
well as parts that can get quite hot. Just as with baking or cooking, printing
things with your little maker requires adult supervision.
