Intersect cylinder faces with the base back
Next you need to intersect the faces of the cylinder with the faces of the
base, so that you can delete the extra cylinder parts and create a hole.
Orbit around your model so that you are looking at the back side with
the protruding cylinders.
Select both the the back of the model and one of the cylinders (hold
down the shift key to select multiple objects). Once the objects are se-
lected, you need to intersect the faces: right mouse click Intersect
Faces With Selection. See Figure 8-53 .
Repeat this process on the other side of the model with the other cylin-
der.
