Create 1.6mm diameter circle for hole
As you are drawing the circle - you can type in numbers and
hit the Enter key to input the exact radius. You can also see a
numeric value displayed for the radius in the bottom tool bar
as you are drawing the object.
Extrude the circles to create cylinders
Orbit, select the 1.6mm circle, select Push/Pull tool and pull the circle
down through the model to create a cylinder.
Make sure that the cylinder is taller than the nameplate. The cylinder
must penetrate all the way through the nameplate and come out the
other side. See
Figure 8-51
.
Repeat this process on the top right side of the model as shown in
Figure 8-52
.
