ilate the findings of the newresearch into everyday
practice, by the provision and funding of three
demonstration projects. The projects were led by
industry consultants with the support of an indus-
try-led steering committee andwith the support of

the research teams. The aims of the demonstration
projects were:
. to apply and evaluate the newmodels developed
in FRMRC RPA6, at sites selected by the project
SteeringGroup, to support the bettermanagement
of urban flooding;
