death.Onthebacksideofthestatue,youcanbuyabagof50-satangcoinsandplunkthem
one by one into the row of copper pots for good luck. Outside the building,
four chedis
commemoratethefirstfourkingsoftheChakridynasty.Thecentralchediistheoldestone;
itwaserectedbyKingRamaItoholdtheremainsofthePhraSiSanphet,themostsacred
BuddhafigureofAyutthaya.Thechedistothenorthandtothesouthhousetheremainsof
King Rama II and King Rama III respectively.
