Koh Phangan is an island in the Gulf of Thailand in South East Thailand, and located in

packer's destination. Ko PhaNgan has two sister islands: the larger Ko Samui to the south

KohPhanganstillhasplentyofremotebeaches,surroundedwithbeautifulcoralandprotec-
ted by the spirits of old temples.

High Speed Catamaran when traveling between the Islands or even back To Bangkok (via
Cuumporn).
Onewarning:Ifit'swindywithwaveshigherthanhalfameterthenatriponaboatoreven
a high speed catamaran is not a pleasure journey anymore. They will only close their ser-
vice when it's too dangerous according to THAI standards. Last time during rainy season
I experienced their service while the weather was really bad. You have to be strong to not
getcatapultedoutofyourseat.Theluggagedidjumpontheirboatwhichwasfuntoseeif
you're not scared and don't get seasick. Now you know, decide on your own...
