There is absolutely no doubt that Cassandra has been widely accepted as a pre-
ferred columnar database for building scalable big data applications. Companies such
as eBay, Netflix, and Facebook are using Cassandra for multiple purposes. Developers
from these organizations have been regularly contributing and introducing their
Cassandra-based tools, which bodes well for the future.
Furthermore, there are high-level clients available in almost all language options.
Table 11-1 shows a table listing popular high-level Cassandra client APIs.
