YouTube videos, even those that appear in embedded players on other
sites' Web pages, get handed off to the YouTube app for playback.
The scrubber bar displays the video's progress; the light gray portion
to the right of the playhead indicates how much of the video has been
downloaded. To jump ahead in the movie, drag the playhead across the
scrubber bar. The AirPlay button sends the video to an AirPlay-compatible
device such as an Apple TV (see Chapter 8 for more on AirPlay). Tap the
Full Screen button to enlarge the video to use the entire iPad screen,
hiding the rest of the Web page.
You can also use a two-fingered expand gesture (moving your fingers
apart) on the movie to quickly zoom it into full-screen mode. Once
there, double-tap the video to switch between viewing the full width of the
movie (with black bars) or filling the screen (which crops the image). See
Chapter 8 for more information about playing videos and other media.
