I love movies, but I don't get out to see them often enough. And while
there are a few flicks I'd prefer to see with a large group of people, I'm
happy to catch up on my movie watching at home on my own time. The
iPad is great for watching a movie (or TV show, or video podcast, or movie
you created) when it's most convenient.
Syncing video works the same as syncing music, outlined earlier in the
chapter, with one helpful difference. iTunes can automatically sync items
that match timely criteria, such as the five most recent unwatched
movies, or the three least recently watched items. This option applies
to any video content: movies, TV shows, and podcasts (including audio
podcasts, since they're also timely items).
