6.7.3.1 History
A 77 year old, 154 pound (69 kg), 5 foot 6 inch (168 cm) tall, diabetic white male
professor of mechanical engineering developed progressive pain and varus
deformity of nearly 30

in his right knee over a 10 year period; range of motion
was 0

and he walked with a significant lateral thrust during heel strike
with a prominent, posteriorly displaced fibular head and1+ lateral instability. His
right hip was fused for tuberculosis at age 5 in Moscow, Russia, his birthplace.
