TABLEAU SOFTWARE

At the time of this writing, Tableau Software is the up-and-coming
analysis software. If you want to dig deeper into your data than you
can in Excel, without programming, this is a good place to look. As
shown in Figure 7-2, the program is visually-based, and you can easily
interact with your data as you find interesting spots to look at. The
downside is that the software is pricey (with special pricing for students
and nonprofits). It also runs only on Windows at this time, but there is
an OS X version in the works.
