Synopsis
<thead> . . . </thead>
Defines a block of rows that consist of the column labels (headers) for the table. The thead
element is one of the “row group” elements. It may be used to duplicate headers when the full
table is broken over pages or for a static header that appears with a scrolling table body. It
must contain at least one row ( tr ) with th or td elements.

As a child of a table element, after any caption and colgroup elements and before any
tbody , tfoot , and tr elements, but only if there are no other thead elements in the parent
table element

Zero or more tr elements
