Lesson 13: Creating
Images for Web, Video,
and Interactive Use
Photoshop's flexibility and range of features have allowed it to gain
acceptance in nearly every sector of the creative design industry. A
very common use for Photoshop is creating imagery for web, applica-
tion, and video production.

Creating web page mockups
Working with slices
Using the Save for Web feature
Creating frame and timeline animations
Starting up
In this lesson, you'll create a group of projects for web and video production. You'll work with still and
animated graphics for each medium.
Before starting, make sure that your tools and panels are consistent by resetting your preferences. See “Re-
setting Adobe Photoshop CC preferences” in the Starting up section of this topic.
In this lesson, you will work with several files from the ps13lessons folder. Make sure that you have
loaded the pslessons folder from www.digitalclassroombooks.com/epub/photoshopcc onto your hard drive.
