Click and drag upwards to start the path.
When creating perfect arches, you can press and hold the Shift key while dragging to constrain the
directional line.
3 Locate the next square and click and drag down; do not release until you have pulled down enough that
the path you are creating approximates the path you are tracing over. You don't need to make an exact
match, just get the anchor points in the right place. You can edit the anchor points and the directional
lines when you are finished with the path.
Click and drag down to complete the arch.
4 Click and drag up on the next square to create the next arch, which is upside down.
5 Continue this process by clicking and dragging down on the last path.
6 This time switch to the Direct Selection tool, and then click off the path to deactivate it.
7 Using the Direct Selection tool, make any adjustments to your path or anchor points. Notice that when
you click an anchor point, the directional lines reappear so you can edit the size and direction of the
curved path.
