6 You will now create a closed shape by clicking anchor points until you can come around and close your
path by clicking the initial anchor point. You can add as many anchor points as you need, but before
clicking the original anchor point, note that a close circle appears indicating that you are closing this
path.
Close the path.

Using the Selection tools
One of the main benefits of using the Pen tool for masks and selections is the ability to edit the path, even
after it has been created.
1 Select the Path Selection tool from the Tools panel and click anywhere on the path that you made.
2 Click and drag the path to another location on the page. Notice that the Path retains its original shape.
3 Now click and hold the Path Selection tool to select the hidden Direct Selection tool.
4 Click anywhere on the image area, but off the path to deselect the path.
5 Click any anchor point to activate it, and then click and drag. Note that when you use the Direct Selec-
tion tool, you can edit the path.
6 Click off the path to deselect it again, and then click a path segment between two anchor points. Click
and drag; note that you are editing both anchor points.
